Submission on the NDIS Amendment Bill

I am a Disabled person
My main concern about this Bill is:
● I am worried about my families and friends access to the NDIS. ● If this Bill goes through I am worried about my ability to gain access to the NDIS. This has made me extremely depressed about my future, my ability to work or move out of home.
This Bill may affect me / people I support because:
● Every disabled person and career I know, including myself, is extremely time poor, tired and already struggling with the administrative burdens and limits of the NDIS. ● It already locks out people who are struggling, financially struggling or homeless.
What I want the committee to understand is:
● this will negatively impact so many people, not just disabled people but families, carers, partners, children, support workers. ● This will particularly impact women because caring responsibilities often fall on them. ● This has not been co-designed with disabled people and this Bills impact will kill us and our hope for our futures.
