Dear committee secretary,
I am autistic and have disabled family members, partner and colleagues. I understand that NDIS supports allow disabled people to live normal, healthy lives and can be life changing and even life saving for people. I am currently applying for access to the NDIS as I struggle with autistic burnout. There are no other supports available to me, or to those I know who are NDIS participants, and so we must protect the NDIS, at least until alternative supports are funded and built by state government and communities.
I do not support this Bill as it will cause harm to the disabled community. I ask that the Committee withdraw this Bill.
