I have 3 distinct conditions which can be classified as “disabilities” (though I hate that word).
Only one is included in my NDIS Plan.
I have been trying, and will continue to try to get the other 2 included in the plan, but I am very concerned about the prospect of about a fifth of participants being removed from the NDIS, and fear as only one of my 3 conditions is in my plan I might be one of them.
That would cause very significant difficulties for me.
I am aware of and fully support the need to eliminate waste from the scheme, but I am concerned that myself and many others who really need access could lose it, and have great difficulty getting access back later.
