My name is Tryna Maher.I am the mother of a 16 year old boy with multiple disabilities who relies upon the NDIS. Without the NDIS , he would not be a functioning member of the community. We value it as it helps increase his inclusion, provides valuable funding for therapies and the resources needed to function in mainstream society.
In Sept of last year, we received notice that his plan would be rolled over, as it was due for renewal. I had asked for extra additions due to anew diagnosis, and significant time of life costs (a driving assessment, etc). However, the only communication from the NDIS/ A has been about a reassessment. This doesn’t seem fair to us.
In summary, more information is available if needed. There are a lot of questions which require answering, but no one to direct them too.
