Impact on access to appropriate and specific support services

National Disability Intelligence Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026

Submission 3728

Hi APH,

I am a support coordinator and am greatly concerned with the proposed bill.

The current member of parliament needs to review this bill and scrutinize it to great length, test it against real-life scenarios, and refocus on the original intent of the scheme - integrate people with disabilities into their communities to be functioning and contributing members by funding appropriate and specific support.

Please do not pass the NDIS Amendment Bill in its current form. It removes rights, reduces choice and control, and will harm people with disabilities in my community.

The current health of the scheme and people with disabilities are put at further risk if the current government neglects to appropriately implement funding for person centred, evidence based services.
