National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026
Submission 3738
to: Parliament of “Australia” 28/05/2026 from:
RE: The National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026.
to whom it may concern,
How can you be so ignorant? Truly. You are our Government. You are supposed to support
us, all of us. How dare you be so selfish?
On Saturday 9th May in Narrm/Melbourne, communities came together peacefully to protest substantial recent funding cuts to the National Disability Scheme (NDIS). Disability has played a central role in my lived experience since my father acquired a traumatic brain injury in 2006. Now at 27 years old, I am an independent disability support worker, artist and arts worker who identifies with disabled, queer, gender, and neurodiverse communities.
The central theme of this submission relates to whatever you think you’re doing right now. With these policy cuts. You, sir! Have you ever thought about the lives you’re impacting?
In 2022, the ABS reported Australian’s as: 21% PWD, 17.1% aged 65+, and 11.9% or 3 million carers (ABS: 2022). That means disability affects approximately half our population. Why are you playing dumb?
Please, listen to our submissions. Exercise democracy and ethics for once in your life! Please. We’re begging you.
The world needs to change and it can start with you. Every decision you make affects an entire country. You can do it, I promise! We will help.
Do you really think these funding cuts and policy changes are the right choice? Are you going to heaven or hell for this?
Please, very seriously, if you think this is appropriate.
If not, change the world. You got into Politics for a reason, right?
All the best and kind regards,
P.S. People are watching. This is what you will be remembered for , actually.
