Professionally I am a behavioural support worker and undergoing my clinical supervision for accreditation to become a behaviour support practitioner.

I am also the spouse of a NDIS recipient with a drastically reduced capacity to work. I say this to establish that I do know what I’m saying when I tell you that the proposed cuts will destroy the lives of so many of the most vulnerable members of our community.

No single participant I have ever had the privilege of working with has ever had funding adequate to their needs and it feels cruel beyond measure to reduce that even further.
