Rejection of punitive NDIS Bill approach (Individual advocacy)

National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026

Submission 387

I’m absolutely furious about these NDIS Bill Amendments. Watching my cousin’s children — ordinary Australians who happens to be disabled, just trying to live with dignity — get steamrolled by a bunch of well-paid politicians making punitive decisions from the comfort of their privileged seats is just plain unAustralian and not what this country is about!

Whatever happened to a fair go? Whatever happened to looking after people instead of punishing them for existing? If Labor pushes ahead with this Bill, they can forget about my vote. I reject this whole approach outright — it’s cruel, and it betrays the values Australia and Australians stand for.
