deeply concerned about the changes being rolled out and proposed for NDIS.

I will keep my note brief as I wanted to concentrate most of all on the inhumane, non-humane, automated-engaged impact on the most vulnerable in our Australian society. It has been literally incomprehensible to me that any human person, politician or not, would be prepared to cause such grievous hardship to such a vulnerable person (and allies and families and communities), where this would not only at times be death-threatening but is most definitely ENDANGERING of life and safety to EVERY single person affected.

I am a journalist also of long-standing with major mastheads so I am politically knowledgeable. I am also an awarded writer and poet with a current book including work on societal trauma and cruelty, including in relation to persons of special needs.

At a personal note, I have watched an eldest daughter struggle with lifetime special needs and impacts and for our family, this has now resulted in an extensive delay in the final processing of her NDIS application in her own right.

It would simply be impossible for my daughter to have been able to even attempt to access NSIS, let alone maintain secure ongoing housing, food etc, without the absolute support of her direct family, including two other daughters where one of these provides weekly carer support (voluntarily of course), financial support from the other, and substantial time and financial support from myself. My eldest would most likely otherwise be in lifetime danger of poverty, asault, illness and injury, without any resources to defend herself.

And she is then meant to mediate any of the factors of her lifetime disabilities at a NDIS level with automated systems! It is profoundly shameful, not only in regard to her but for every person affected.

In this, I call out every single politician and public service member who has enabled this disastrous, corrupt and immoral situation to occur.
