National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Securing the NDIS for Future Generations) Bill 2026
Submission 4101
Dear Minister Butler
I want to continue to use my Community Participation funding to attend appointments, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ผ๐ ๐ฟ๐๐ฟ๐ณ ๐ก๐๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ด๐ต ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐บ๐๐๐ ๐ฃ๐พ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ง๐๐๐ฝ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฉ๐๐๐๐. go to social events as well as attending community events and Festivals, some of them are at night.
I am legally blind which makes it hard for me to navigate unfamiliar places safely especially at night, so I need the help of a Support Worker.
My informal supports have reduced because one of my siblings live in the country and another sibling is travelling indefinitely and my parents are elderly with health issues, so I need the help of Support Workers to attend appointments and run errands.
It worries me that the Labor Government wants to kick 240 000 participants off the NDIS.
It concerns me that Community Participation Funds will be reduced if the NDIS bill passes.
Without My current level of NDIS funding, I would feel isolated and be unable to maintain my home and garden to clean and hygienic standard, To reduce the cost of the NDIS, crack down on Fraud and admin costs, Do not kick participants off the NDIS, Do not cut participant funding. Leave Plan review rules as they are. The NDIS Amendment bill must not pass in its current form,
STOP THE CUTS!
