Hello, my name is and I am 12 years old. I am autistic and I have an NDIS plan. I live with my mum. She has problems with her sight and her body. She can’t drive and she sometimes has to use a walker or a wheelchair.
I have heard about the government giving less support to disabled people and I think this is very wrong.
Without the NDIS we couldn’t leave our house and I couldn’t go to the activities I like to do. It is even hard for my mum to get me to the places I want to go now.
I want to study biology or zoology when I grow up and I will need support to do this. Even though I try very hard.
Please don’t change the NDIS to be worse for us. I have been able to learn new skills to help me and my mum has help from a support worker who I like to talk to. Without these supports my life would be miserable.
