Name: Tyson alsford

I am a: ☐ Disabled person Family member / supporter ☐ Clinician / worker ☐ Other: ___________________

My main concern about this Bill is:

The Bill increases administrative burden, reduces flexibility, expands punitive “not contactable” rules, and strengthens systemlevel control over supports

This Bill may affect me / people I support because:

  • i have friend/ family members that are both in this environment for work and a member of this community. The Bill increases expectations for participants to respond quickly and consistently. Many disabled people cannot do this due to executive dysfunction, hospitalisation, burnout, communication barriers, or lack of support. Punishing people for being “not contactable” is discriminatory and dangerous

What I want the committee to understand is:

These cuts were not based on needs. They were based on administrative convenience and a refusal to consider context

My position on this Bill: ☐ I support it I do not support it ☐ I have serious concerns

Because it is wrong and discrimination.
