Submission 60

Hi My name is and I am a disabilities support worker, as wel I as an unpaid carer to family members

Submission 60 with disabilities who recive other forms of NDIS support such as cleaning. I have seen though the work I do and my experiences with family how NDIS enables people with

Submission 60 disabilities to live full lives from home and praticipate in community.

I am writing to implore the federal government to halt cuts to the NDIS as

Submission 60 this would have devastating and far reaching impact on people with disabilities, support and healthcare workers and the community at large. Proposed cuts to NDIS will reduce

quality ofSubmissionlife60 of people with disabilities, and place undue and unnecessary strain on hospitals. Individuals who are able to participate and thrive in community life will

be confinedSubmission 60 to home or hospital without adequate support. This will also increase strain on family members and loved ones of those with disabilities who will be forced to take on

unpaid careSubmission 60 work, impacting families lives as well as the economy. There will be increase in

  • •unnecessary 1nJury and premature death due to lack of care and support under NDIS cuts.
