experiences with

family how NDIS nenables people with

disabilities to live full lives from home and practic ipate in community.

I am writing to implore the federal government to halt cuts to the NDIS as

this would have devastating and far reaching impact on people with disabilities, support and healthcare workers and the community at large. Proposed cuts to NDIS will reduce

• quality of Submission life 60 of

• disabilities, and

• place undue and

• unnecessary strain

• on hospitals.

• Individuals who are

• able to participate

• and thrive in

• community life will

• be confined

• home or hospital
• without adequate
• support. This will
• also increase strain
• on family members
• and loved ones of
• those with
• disabilities who will
• be forced to take on

• unpaid care Submission 60 work, impacting families lives as well as the economy. There will be increase in

• unnecessary injury and premature death due to lack of care and support under NDS cuts.
