Please provide the number of complaints received by NDIA, during two NDIS reporting quarters of 2021, for failing to comply with Model Litigant Rules.
Please provide the breakdown numbers of Model Litigant complaints that were regarding conferences, conciliation, hearings or other (eg documentation) for the same time periods.
Please provide the breakdown of numbers of Model Litigant complaints against a) APS employed lawyers, b) contracted lawyers c) outsourced corporate law firms.
Please provide which department is responsible for addressing Model Litigant complaints.
Please provide the number of responses to NDIA that have been received from the Ombudsman regarding Model Litigant complaints for the same time periods.

Please provide the number of complaints received by NDIA, during two NDIS reporting quarters of 2021, for failing to comply with Model Litigant Rules.
The NDIA has received 4 complaints during the reporting quarters of July – September and October – December 2021 which reference the Model Litigant Obligations (MLO).
Please provide the breakdown numbers of Model Litigant complaints that were regarding conferences, conciliation, hearings or other (eg documentation) for the same time periods.
As reported above, the NDIA is aware of four complaints regarding the NDIA and MLO. They are not separated out by the types of issue listed in the question.
Please provide the breakdown of numbers of Model Litigant complaints against a) APS employed lawyers, b) contracted lawyers c) outsourced corporate law firms.
MLO complaints are made about the conduct of a particular matter and often have multiple lawyer types involved. NDIA data does not differentiate in that way.
Please provide which department is responsible for addressing Model Litigant complaints.
The Chief Counsel Division is responsible for addressing complaints for the Agency relating to the MLO, as set out in the Legal Services Directions 2017.

The NDIA has not received any responses from the Ombudsman regarding MLO complaints for the requested time periods.
