Dear Mr O’Hart,

We refer to your request for access to documents under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act). We have taken your request to be for:

Would you please advise the number currently employed within the NDIA and the number who are in receipt of a superannuation benefit of “no less than 15.4%” as advertised within the job description application forms throughout 2013.

Your request was received by the Department of Human Services (DHS) and has now been transferred to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) in accordance with subsection 16(2) of the FOI Act. We note that you separately sent an email to FOI@ndis.gov.au in substantially the same terms as this request, though it was not stated to be an FOI Act request. Accordingly, we will be responding to just the FOI Act request.

As your request was made on 1 March 2014, you should expect a decision from us by 31 March 2014. This period may be extended if we need to consult with third parties, or for other reasons. We will advise you if this happens.

You will be notified of any charges in relation to your request as soon as possible and before we process any requested documents or impose a final charge.

Please note that information released under the FOI Act may later be published online on the NDIA’s disclosure log, subject to certain exceptions (for example, personal information is not published where this would be unreasonable).

We will contact you using the above-referenced ‘Right to Know’ email address. Please advise if you would prefer us to use an alternative means of contact. If you have any questions, please email us at FOI@ndis.gov.au.

Yours sincerely

The FOI team
